The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Nyeri (Latin: Nyerien(sis)) is the Metropolitan See for the Ecclesiastical province of Nyeri in Kenya.
History
- September 14, 1905: Established as Mission “sui iuris” of Kenya from the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Zanguebar
- July 12, 1909: Promoted as Apostolic Vicariate of Kenya
- March 10, 1926: Renamed as Apostolic Vicariate of Nyeri
- March 23, 1953: Promoted as Diocese of Nyeri
- May 21, 1990: Promoted as Metropolitan Archdiocese of Nyeri
